OSGOOD, FIVE OTHERS INDUCTED INTO B'CAST HALL OF FAME
By Bob Gibson (former WCBS anchor) 11/14/09

Charles Osgood of CBS News and Harry Harrison, who enjoyed a colorful 44-year New York career at WMCA, WABC, and CBS/FM, were among a half dozen veteran broadcasters given the red carpet treatment at the induction ceremony that the NYS Broadcasters Association held November 12, 2009, at the Paley Center for Media in midtown Manhattan.

That two-hour event also paid tribute to veteran Buffalo TV journalist Marie Rice, Rochester radio personality Brother Wease, Syracuse radio & TV personality Rick Gary, and long-time talk show host Don Weeks, who's still the morning voice on Schnectady's pioneer powerhouse WGY.
