Margie (Morcom) Hartsock
This year we planned our annual class get together for Friday, September 23, 2016. We moved it from Labor Day weekend since some of the usual attendees liked to plan family things over that weekend. Without the traditional AHS picnic, we realized those who had to travel big distances might not come.
Fortunately Gene & Laura Consolo & Bob Ferris & Sue made the trip. Other "locals" from the class of '55 who attended were: John McRandal & Julie Mikus, Bob Racki & his wife, Norma, Sally (Bollinger) Greulich, Shirley Brusco, Tim Pantano, husband of Shirley ( Newcamp) Pantano, & Margie (Morcom) Hartsock & Husband, Bob. Those from the class of '54 who joined us were: Gene (Scarja) Flannery & her husband, Roger McQuaid & his wife Janet (Bailey) McQuaid, Connie (Manifesto) Valenti & her husband Jerry Valenti, Jack Handyside, & Ray Ebel.
We got together at the Baja Bar & Grill at 4:30 for an early dinner. With a new addition, the Baja ambience has improved. We had tables by the window overlooking the Allegheny River -- nice view & their menu has improved the last couple years. We all enjoyed seeing each other for our 61st Anniversary since graduation. It's fun to reminisce & catch up on each other's lives. Hopefully more of you will come next year. The more the merrier! Looking forward to seeing you in 2017! -- Margie (Morcom) Hartsock
